Revealed: The Ultimate Guide to Hydrating Your Eyes like a Pro

When you have dry eye, it's extra important to make sure you're drinking enough water. Dehydration can make your dry eye symptoms worse, so it's key to stay hydrated! Here are some tips for staying hydrated when you have dry eye:



1. Keep water bottles close: Whether you keep a bottle of water on your desk at work, in your purse or backpack when you're out and about, or by your bedside at night, having water readily available will help you to drink more throughout the day.


2. When you think, drink: Every time you think about drinking water, take a sip. This will help to train your brain to crave water and you'll find yourself reaching for it more often.


3. Drink 8-16 oz water before each meal, or snack


4. Keeping track of your water intake can be a challenge. But using a “goal tracker” water bottle can help you hit your daily goals. With this method, you can ensure you're getting the right amount of water each day


5. If you use a reusable straw, you'll end up drinking more water. It's a great way to stay hydrated. Plus, it's better for the environment.


6. Try adding fruit to your water for a refreshing twist! Lemons, limes, and berries are all great options.


7. Add cucumber, basil, and mint, they have refreshing flavors and will keep sipping all day long. Plus, it's good for you.


8. Remember to always drink before and after your workouts! It's so important to stay hydrated, especially when you're sweating and exerting yourself


9. When you feel hungry, drink some water. It might sound strange, but sometimes being thirsty can make you feel hungry.


10. Herbal tea is not only delicious, but it's also fantastic for keeping you hydrated. My favourite is iced cold mint tea.


11. Head over to Amazon and stock up on Real Lemon, Lime, and Grapefruit packs! These handy little packets are perfect for adding a refreshing zing to your water and they are thirst-quenching too.


12. To make water more interesting, add bubbles with a soda stream. It'll make you feel like you're drinking something other than plain old water


13. A water filtration system is a great way to ensure that you're drinking quality water.


14. Ditch the plastic bottles and opt for a reusable ones instead! It ensures you avoid


By drinking more water throughout the day and paying attention to my hydration levels, I was able to improve the health of my eyes.
